Sarah Lynn - Artist

Sarah Lynn is a Metis artist born and raised in the East Kootenays.

Her colourful images celebrate humanity while examining the struggle of women in today’s world.

Her work is informed by a strong intersectional feminist outlook and fascination with the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

Exhibits

Key City Theatre’s 2022 Art Exhibition for local First Nations, Metis and Inuit artists was Sarah Lynn’s first opportunity to share her work with the public. That show was followed by Cranbrook Art’s Square Foot Show and the Centre 64 Young Artists Show in Kimberley.

Sarah Lynn is creating new work for the 2023 Key City Indigenous Artists exhibit running this September and October.
